Terms & Conditions

Last updated 18 June 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and the legal-guidance service provided by Consilia, S.L. ("Consilia", "we", "us"). By using the site or contacting us, you agree to these terms.

About our service

Consilia provides general legal information and guidance to private individuals in plain language. Where you engage us for specific work, the scope and price are agreed with you in advance. Our service is intended to help you understand your situation and your options; it does not create a lawyer–client relationship unless we expressly agree to act in that capacity.

Not a substitute for formal representation

The guidance we provide is informational and tailored to the details you share with us. It is not a guarantee of any outcome. Where a matter requires formal legal representation before a court or authority, we will tell you so, and you remain responsible for seeking such representation in good time.

Your responsibilities

Fees

An initial enquiry and our assessment are transparent and agreed up front. Any further work is carried out only after the scope and a fixed fee have been agreed with you in writing. We do not bill for work you have not authorised.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, layout and graphics, belongs to Consilia and may not be copied or reused without our permission. Documents we prepare specifically for you are provided for your own use.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Consilia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or from general information provided. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of Madrid, España, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
